Step One: enter URL's into your search engine ranking software.

To help group or distinguish URL's from one another, comments may be entered on separate lines by starting the comment with a semicolon. Blank lines may be inserted.

Spider Website: allows you to include all URL's on the server for the domain.

Save to a text file to the field.

Step Two: Enter Keywords into your search engine ranking software.

Spider Website server to include keywords from Meta Tags of each Website file (Web page).

Find and Replace within Keyword field.

Load a text file to the Keyword field.

Save to a text file to the Keyword field.

Select Three: Select the Search Engines within your search engine ranking software.

Click the checkbox next to each search engine you wish to include in a particular project. Click the column headers to sort the individual columns to make selection easier.

The first column, Search Engine, supports an additional sort on the third click sorting the selected search engines to the top of the list in ascending order.

First Button: Select By Category: General, Meta, Paid Submission, Pay Per Impression, PPC Country: 38 Language: 18 Now you can Save your selection as a Template for use later.

Delete any of the Templates.

Select all SE's

Unselect all SE's .

Invert them.

Sort columns by Category, Country, and Language.

Step Four: Get Rankings with your search engine ranking software.

You see the keywords on the left cell and the process of searching for Pages, Results, Matches, Time, Status runs on the right.

Step Five: Archived Rankings

This step is used to manage prior rankings. It allows you to remove unwanted rankings from your project file and add comments that can show on the reports.

You see your Ranking Folder, the Weekday of the search, the Matching Number of Terms and Engines and the Total Matches.

There is also a field where you can enter in specific notes for the specific search results. This will visit you again when you go to the Summary Reports and be found at the bottom.

Summary Reports within your search engine ranking software.
Filters allow you to select the different approaches of reporting the data collected: (links are screen shots) by Ranking, URL's, Keywords, Search Engines, Display Data, and Highlight Data.

Edit and Delete filters.

Customize your Report by Title, Header and Footer, Styes and Filter, Page Layout.

Top Rankings: by Pages and Positions

Position Changes: by Add/Drop, Up/Down.

Ranking Little button hides a big choice: a score ot tabs for areas to Edit Chart(s).

Filter and Edit Filters, allow you to customize a variety of different charts from the Edit Chart function.

Save as a BitMap.

Exports
Report Headers and Footers Select either Header or Footer to edit the html.

Delete the html text if nothing is desired. A preview of the html is shown at the bottom of the screen.

Most Recent Files
This contols how the most recent files list display from the menu and the toolbar.

You can also control how many items to display.

Display As allows you to specifiy what gets displayed in the more recent files list. There are three choices; File Name Only, shows just the file with the extension; Relative Path, shows the path and file name relative to the current working directory; and Full Path, shows the complete path of the file.

File History Limit sets the limit on the number of files that are tracked. The allowable range is from 4 to 9 files.

Quick Start Dialog Box
This controls where the Quick Start dialog box displays and if the program should optimize the button arrangement to show the most used buttons toward the top.

The Show at Startup check box allows you to display the Quick Start dialog box whenever the program starts.

The Optimize Buttons option allow you to have the Quick Start dialog box arrange the buttons in order of most used starting from the top.

HTTP Proxy
Enter the host name or IP address of your proxy server here. Examples are proxy.domain.com or 192.168.1.34. Port Enter the port number for the proxy server here. The default is 80. Another common port is 8080. Check with your network administrator for the correct port.

User Name: if your proxy requires you to login, then enter your account name here. Otherwise, leave this field blank.

Password: if your proxy requires you to login and you have entered a User Name, then enter your account password here. Otherwise, leave this field blank.

SOCKS Proxy
If you are using a SOCKS proxy server, then select the version of your server here. Currently, SOCKS 4, 4a, and 5 are supported.

If you are not using a SOCKS proxy, then leave this field at Not Used. See HTTP Proxy for the other settings
